Automated Convenience

Instead of waking up in the morning to a noisy alarm clock, you could instead open your eyes to sunlight as the blinds in your bedroom slowly open. And rather than needing to walk around the entire house to close the curtains at dusk, your Baulogic control system could be programmed to do that for you automatically - even when you're out.

Being able to open and close your blinds, shades, curtains and shutters electronically is not just a convenience - it can increase the energy efficiency of your home. In the summer months, closing the blinds and curtains can reduce solar gain, and in the winter months, all but the best double glazing units will benefit from a thick pair of curtains. When linked to your intelligent home control system, windows shades can be automatically lowered when a room becomes too warm, which is especially useful if your  home is unoccupied during the day.

Controlled through KNX

Most kinds of blind, shade, curtain and shutter can be controlled by KNX. With venetian or vertical blinds, both the tilt of the slats and the height of the blind can be independently controlled. Automated window openers can also be integrated into your KNX system.
