Residents at Warren Close in Cambridge were delighted to hear recently that their management company, Encore Estate Management, had appointed Baulogic to install a complete CCTV surveillance system.

The new cameras, being fitted over the coming weeks by Baulogic, will increase security across the development, which sees heavy footfall from commuters cutting through on their way to
and from Cambridge railway station.

Incorporating state-of-the-art digital recording and enhanced night-vision pan, tilt and zoom cameras, the system will allow Encore to monitor vehicular and pedestrian movements around the development. A key feature of the system is that the registration plate of every vehicle entering and leaving the development will be recorded day and night. With automated off-site backup and remote monitoring, the system will provide Encore with high quality images of any incidents at the site.

Estate manager Gordon Ferguson hopes to be able to introduce similar initiatives elsewhere, adding: "The new CCTV equipment will enable us to monitor Warren Close even more closely, and provide peace of mind for landlords, lessees and tenants."
