Air Con & Ventilation

Intelligent control
Whilst Baulogic does not install air conditioning and ventilation systems, we strongly recommend that they be linked into an intelligent building control system.
The justification for this is based entirely on energy efficiency; the building control system can ensure that air conditioning and heating are not enabled at the same time, that the air conditioning doesn't run when windows are left open, and that the air conditioning is turned off (or reduced) when the office is unoccupied.
When your office space is fitted with KNX-based temperature sensors and controllers, the heating and air conditioning are both controlled using the same set of parameters by the same control unit, ensuring that only one or the other is working at any time. There's no chance of your employees accidentally setting the air conditioning to come on while the heating is still trying to warm the building - a frequent cause of wasted energy.
Centralised management
An office that is cooled by multiple stand-alone air conditioners, each with a local remote control, is particularly hard to manage. This can be eliminated by linking every unit into a centralised intelligent control system. Signals can then be sent to each air conditioning unit from a central location, according to a time schedule and temperature parameters that you control.
